The Department of English was established in the year 1983.
The department has qualified staff members.
Every year, in order to elevate holistic development in students, the department’s Orpheus English Association organizes various Inter and Intra-Collegiate events viz. Speech Craft in English, Orthography Contest, English One Word Substitute Contest, Certificate Courses, Developing Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing Skill etc.
Moreover. it holds National and State level conferences/seminars/workshops in collaboration with other language departments/IQAC, every year.
