  • The Department of English was established in the year 1983.
  • The department has qualified staff members.
  • Every year, in order to elevate holistic development in students, the department’s Orpheus English Association organizes various Inter and Intra-Collegiate events viz. Speech Craft in English, Orthography Contest, English One Word Substitute Contest, Certificate Courses, Developing Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing Skill etc.
  • Moreover. it holds National and State level conferences/seminars/workshops in collaboration with other language departments/IQAC, every year.
